TDT ON THE AMSTRAD CPC MONITOR

The analogical blackout is close and our Amstrad TV tuners will became obsolete so there is a way to make our monitor more useful (and to leave the monitor in our room).

 

Required materials
Amstrad CPC Monitor (Best with CTM 644, it has colours)
SCART Cable (Euroconnector)
6-pin DIN female plug
3.5mm stereo female plug
TDT receiver with RGB out (Like Siemens Gigaset M340)

You can make the cable following the above schematics or if you need more help, following the instructions of other Amstrad web pages to make an adapter SCART for CTM644 or CPC to SCART. Finally we have a generic Euroconector cable to our monitor, and we can add a stereo female to connect external loudspeakers. With this cable we could connect multitude of devices with RGB out like videogame consoles, DVD players or a TDT receiver.
